New Life Christian Academy Hires Full Time Administrator

August 2006-New Life Christian Academy is pleased to announce the hire of Dr. Dennis Lesher as School Administrator.  Dr. Lesher will begin his duties at New Life on August 14, 2006.

Dr. Lesher received his Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Kutztown University.  He also holds a Masters in Education Administration from Lehigh University.  In addition, Dr. Lesher graduated summa cum laude from Andersonville Theological Seminary, Georgia, with dual Doctorates in Religious Education and Ministry.

Dr. Lesher served as a teacher in both the Exeter and Cocalico School Districts for eight years.  He then served as Elementary Principal of the Kutztown Area School District for 23 years.  From 1996-2003, he entered ministry full-time and served Christ EC Church in Jarretown, PA and Ebenezer EC Church in Red Hill, PA.  Since 2003, he has been employed as Senior Administrator at Penn Christian Academy in Norristown, PA.

In his capacity as Administrator for New Life, Dr. Lesher functions as the chief spiritual, academic and fiscal leader of the school and is the overall director of institutional development.  He is responsible for the planning and execution of all educational efforts and for the funding support of these efforts. His ultimate objective is to lead an educational venture that results in students who will serve God and impact the world through biblical thought and action.

Dr. Lesher and his wife Joyce reside in the Kutztown area.  They have three grown children.

New Life Christian Academy offers a distinctive Christian education to students in grades K-6.
